A Wild Snow Deer has been spotted in Ricarten Town. Grab your Capture Crystal from Huntress and tame him before someone else does!

Event Details:

• A Wild Snow Deer appears approximately every 1 hour in Ricarten Town. There is a small chance he does not appear. There is a 3 minute prior notice.
• A message appears in the chat that he has spawned. A Wild Snow Deer is very wild indeed, he will run around Ricarten Town until someone throws a rope around his neck for taming!
  • Tip: The Wild Snow Deer is shown in the minimap as a pink icon.
  • Note: It is possible that others have attempted to tame the Wild Snow Deer before you find it, and it could've been tamed or have escaped by then. So if you can't find it all around Ricarten after 1 minute, he's probably tamed or escaped already.
• Buy a  Capture Crystal from Huntress, get close and aim to the Wild Snow Deer then right click the Capture Crystal to start the Taming process.
  • Tip: Aim the Wild Snow Deer, then hold A keyboard button and then move your mouse to the Capture Crystal in your Inventory and right click use it.
  • Hint: In the Taming process, the goal is to hit your Space Bar keyboard button when the cursor is inside the blue color area. You must be fast before the time runs out!
  • You have to complete several rounds within time to complete the Taming process.
• Other players can tame the same Wild Snow Deer at the same time.
  • Only the first one to successfully complete the Taming process gets the Tamed Snow Deer Crystal.
• There can be up to 5 attempts to tame the Wild Snow Deer before he escapes.
• The Tamed Snow Deer Crystal can be traded. When you right click and bind the Mount to your own Stable, it is permanent (X to open your Stable). You can only have one Snow Deer mount in your Stable.
  • During GM hosted events, the Tamed Snow Deer Crystal is not be tradable and will be bound to your character. Thus you must use it or sell it to NPC. Also in this case, you can't begin a taming process if you already have a tamed Snow Deer in your Stable.
  • January 1st and 2nd: The price of Capture Crystal is reduced in Huntress (NPC).
  • January 1st onward: The Tamed Snow Deer Crystal from non-GM hosted events cannot be traded and is bound to your character also.
