Divine Shield and Godly Shield

i know that Godly Shield automatically activates properties of Divine Shield. but does it only activates to the lvl that you have Divine Shield at? < such as- if  DS is only lvl 5 does GS only activate up to lvl 5 or does it activate the full power of lvl 10>?  if it does activate the full power no matter the lvl of DS is there even a need to put point in DS??

GS is linked with DS, but GS active only lvl of DS if ur DS is lvl 1 GS active only DS lvl 1 and GS active only block proprieties from DS

The level of the chained skill is important

 

You can't verify block rate to be sure of GS and DS, but if you take a look at other chained skills (Physical Absorption/Metal Armor for mechs and Tower of Valhalla/Hall of Valhalla for atalantas) you can see the difference

So is it unneccessary to have both? Or do you have to pump DS to lvl 10, in order the get the max out of GS, is that it?

But then you don't have to activate both?

Does that work the same way with the atalanta chains?
