Can I use Class Rune at mixed itens?

I want to know if in the Super Base Respecing process is possible to respec a mixed item. For example: I have a Hell Gaunt Ats Sol mix, and I want to respec it to Ps, so for that I'll use two (2) Super Dagaz and one  (1) Pikeman Rune. So, the super base respecing is possible even if the item is already mixed?

 

I took a look at Item Respecing Guide, and there says that I can Respec aged items, but my doubt about mixed items remains.

yes you can respec items if aging or mixing, 1 Rune ( char ) and 2 super dagaz, then go to Master shalon from there you can change the spec of items.

Check whats lvl req for itens .. and whats need use.
