I just want to ask, what is good dns server to use in playing wartale. I've tried some of the famous one's but still my ping is very high. Most of us here living in china is struggling to play in high ping. Even using VPN is not guarantee to play smoothly. I've spent a lot money buying vpn's that is fast but still nothing happens.

1. Google DNS (In china mainly I cannot use this one - ping will be 70k)

2. Cloudfare (unstable) but manageable

3. OpenDNS (always reconnecting to login and game server)

4. using VPN (changing countries - still ranging from 20k-30k ping)

 

What now?

I think the problem come from the internet service provider. The biggest one is not the suitable one. You should consider to change to other provider more suitable for oversea game online.

After the update of the attack ddos, the connection to the server was very bad.

my ping was 1xx / 2xx with 5 logged in accounts, now its 3xx/4xx/5xx with 2 acc.

And before anyone questions my internet: Ping MS: 6~8 / Download: 120~130 MBPS / Upload 10~12 MBPS

 

 

Missed when the server was in the US.

For me, i choose the providers who are not popular one - not so many ppl choose them. And i also prepare  3G/4G on my smartphone to share internet when my current connection is weak.
