Hammer or Spear for mechs 2hand?

uhm...because before when playing ptp..mechs use spear..but here all mech use hammer..so i dont know whats the difference

Hammers got higher average damage, higher attack rating, scythes got more critical, more block and highest max attack

 

So hammers are better to hunt, scythes are better for power mech
