Press deity or Phantom Nail and why ?

I just wanted to ask what is better press deity or phantom nail because my problem is press deity always stops after the selected enemy is dead so it often only drops 3-5 instead of 10 and so there is a long time in which i dont do damage.

Phantom Nail is ur main AOE.
And u must use Press Deity with Phantom Nail.
