"Respect - Respect other users" - The Wartale Rulebook

I have a question regarding this Rule from "The Wartale Rulebook":

Respect other users so you can gain their respect. You must respect everyone's opinions, even if you disagree with them. You have the right to express your opinion and show others why they might be wrong, but do not start insulting other users while doing that. Opinions can be peacefully discussed. Disrespect of any kind will not be tolerated.

 

Why this rule is in the rulebook if it's completely unenforced?

Yeah.

It's been a long time that doing the effort of gathering evidence, translating trade spam offense and bad language, became a waste of time, unfortunately.

 

Nowadays people can spam a lot of toxic stuff and go unpunished, due to the excuse of block player function.

This rule should be changed to "Block the player chat".

Well its become common to the players now you can see in the forum and in the game. Talking trash, provoking someone, talking about shit, posting pictures and so on. The problem is the player itself and not the game. Staff already done so many things about reporting, banning or block the player chat,  but still they can't erase the fact that they cannot control the emotions of the player. Somehow players nowadays are being disrespectful towards one another its like if they utter words that can hurt other players or offend them they are being patronized or they act like they are god.

Since the Rulebook has its own tab and its not a part of the "Forum" tab I got confused. 

I will definitely write a suggestion about it since there are few players in the game that just take all the fun out of the game. 

It's fine to say "noob" "trash" "dog" but some players are taking it wayyyyy too far and it's simply DISGUSTING.

The offense comes first. The offender acts once then he's done. Will not matter if you block him right after the offense, because you're already offended.

 

Based on the offense's primary quality, the only way to prevent this bad behavior is to apply the warning>ban punishment. Therefore, if keep like it is now, players will feel free to curse other players without any retaliation.

Opinion: 

 

You have to be mature enough to ignore such offenses. The offender will keep his toxic habits if the offended get upset and demonstrate it.

 

Past months a few ppl was abusing of the Offense Rule to report players that were nervous and expressed their anger on words. If the offender is pursuing you in the game, not only in chat, but ksing and dying to a boss propositally, you'll have another situation that demands a punishment.

@Wartale Please, consider this reflection.

 

If you block the person after he has called you a 'F word', then you wont read his comment calling you a 'N word', 'R word' and the list goes on. 

Block/mute isn't useless.

 

For the snowflakes:

The best way to solve this problem is applying more severe rules to Trade chat, since 90% of offenses come from there. Instead of banning, prohibite them from being toxic there. If they keep doing it, then remove their chats for 2-4 days (i dont even know if this is possible ). 

 

Outside trade chat, the block option should be used by the players. There's NO excuse not to use it.

If this toxic people is what make you stop playing your games, then you should reconsider playing any MMO.

 

The idea behind the MMO games is to get people to interact and this brings societal issues into the game, if you can not deal with the society within an MMO then you should start playing only single player games until you can deal with it better.

You guys need to look the situation from ADM's pov, so it all makes sense: 

 

1- ADM isn't a normal player who gets  personally cursed so he never gets personally offended by anything.

2- ADM needs to spend time checking and solving boring problems wich he is not involved in.

3- the only solution for bad language players is banning them. 

banning players means less donations (specially because most of top donators are top toxic players aswel).

 

"more money" and "less time spending" are the only things ADM cares about.

 

so look at it, what could be even better than not being cursed, not spending time with cursing reports, AND not reducing donations anymore because you don't ban players anymore???

 

the pack is just perfect, the only bad side is players are now free to curse each other like there's no tomorrow.

but, who the hell cares about the good feeling of decent players? who fucking cares about decent players in this fucking staff??

That’s basically like being a duck or being a eagle in business world.

 

you can give priority for 10% of players with X profit income and lie for yourself thinking it’s the best possible way or you can give same priority for everyone and get double/triple the profit while still keeping the game working like a swiss clock and respecting deadlines. 

 

Plus without the need of paying dumbstupid prices to get a bit more money or spending a bit less time.

You guys need to be more political, more resilient. You need to remember that there's a lot of different people in an MMO server, with different attitudes, different moods and different age range. I'm 30 years old, but I remember how childlike I was when I started playing these games when I was 12/13 years old. 

There's no big deal. This is what means to be part of a huge community like ours, you will find all kind of people and you need to be smart enough to deal with it. In my opinion the game would be very boring if everyone had the same attitude every time. It's good to create rivalry on the game, have a few enemies, get pissed sometimes..that's part of the game.

I understand the problem with toxic chats, that's not good but we need to live with that. Remember: you're not playing with machines, but with real people. If you wanna play with bots, you should start playing another game.

Allowing people to curse each other with no punishiment is the most shitty decision i could ever imagine and anyone who thinks it’s ok is as shitty as this decision is. 

 

Btw it’s the second worst. 

 

The true worst decision was not banning the biggest real money stuff seller wich almost killed our game with all  proofs in the screen and only punish the one buying the Stuff.

 

Followed by having all T5 skills ready to realease since many time ago but keep delaying it bacause it teorically increases player's expectations. 

^this information was given by real life ADM's friend who also give him important help to solve the DDos attacks (they found who was doing it and they're in jail)

Well it's their business, not yours. You should blame Apple, Microsoft and all the big companies in the world for not releasing everything at the same time to maximize their profits as well. Also all the pharmaceutical industry for let people die telling us they don't have the cure yet and/or they can't help everyone in the world, blah blah blah (while we know they can).

The world is a dirty place, moved by profit percentage. Deal with that

dude, not because you are 30 yo it means your knowledge is good or even correct, age means no shit if u spend a whole life learning the worng stuff and filling your self with wrong conclusions  

 

World is a dirty place only for those who don't use the Brain. The ones who find solutions instead of excuses lives in a much different level... 

 

if something is hard or almost impossible to do, what is needed to do is finding a solution, use our human brain, and reach a new level, with another perspectives. and this way get MUCH MORE MONEY. 

 

those ppl who discovers new techs, new ways to do old things with new results are the ones who get MOST MONEY AMMOUNT IN THE WORLD.

 

also these ppl don't get any movements or decisions forced by profits need, 'cause they simply work to find solutions, not profit. profit is a consequence, not a objective. working for solutions is a posture wich gives you much money. but working for money as the only objective will simply give you less money in long time because you are focusing in the consequence, not the objective. 

 

i know our ADM is the best brain in the world when it comes to Pri.s.t.on. ta.l.e and that's why i believe in him so hard to make things better.

Hey @Wartale this guy is calling everyone over the age of 20 a shitty person, can you please ban him? No, i dont want a light punishment, i want him to get IP banned because he is hurting my feelings.
