Tell me one game whose focus is on PvP that doesn't have a toxic community. Only big companies have enough power to actualy analise and punish an insane amount of people based on their toxic behavior, we don't have that, so the best option is to give power to the players, that's why we all have the option to block idiots. 

 

Despite this, i do believe that we should have some rules regarding trade chat.

People are lacking of reflection. Everybody want to impose their immediate not-reflected opinions. 

To decide if a rule will be applied, we have to consider if the community accept it, or in other words: if the current community's culture ask for it.

 

Players are separated here, but I see both side are lacking of real debate.

 

Basically, there is no punishment against the offenders. If someone curse you, all you have to do is block him. I can say it in other words. Everyone is allowed to offend and curse just once.

You can curse for free, but just once. This makes any sense? We can make a personal joke against someone (for example: joke a someone's dead mom) for free and not get punished. That's same thing as if saying you can block a thief only after he robbed you.

This is a argument in favor of 'Punishment of offenders' position.

To say you can ignore a offense is not a argument. That's just common sense, devoid of reflection.

Well, we have; way back in priston Philippines. we have enemies we fight with each other but we never cursed someone, we don't post pictures on social media just to or say something that can offend someone because they implement rules very strictly... I'm not saying that ADM is very light but again what others say its all about $$$

The reason why punishments for verbal offenses were removed it is clear, players were abusing of the system to try to ban other players for no reason, and giving pathetic points to try to justify the report, "he called me a cat, cat in my country is the symbol of witchcraft and bad luck, plis gm ban him bla bla bla chitchat bla bla bla...

 

The point is, you guys must undestand that this server is a global server, we have players from all countries, and each country has its own culture,so, it is impossible for the staff to know if the player is really offended or it is just trying to get a free ban. I remeber 4 or 5 years ago an EZ clan member changed the nick of his char to "iOwnAllah", and many arabians reported him, it is really common to have players with "GOD" in nick here and there, like, IAmGOD, and no one report, but arabians take religion really seriously, all cultures are totally different from each other.

 

So,if the player is really offended by being called cat,just block who did it, since the staff can't know if it's offensive for your culture. The only exception for this is Nick,as i said above, then the staff must do something,like the Ms with the nick "irapekids".

Hi all,

 

Once again game is part of life, people in real life don't get punish for saying shit therefore we won't do it too.

Specially when people want to say thing like this, to us it is just as bad as other people that you guys complaining about.

Good players don't go around and accusing other because they don't get what they want.
