Mix and Age with Quest items ?

I plan to mix the Gaya armor but I'm not sure .... If you have any experience, pls share. Thanks in advance

for the quest it has to be mixed.. by the tier5 quest..

 

but im wondering myself is there gonna be the ability to age or mix.. since quest is able to do over.

 

or is the only option the quest mix?
