New to this game

Haven't played PT for over 16 years lol.

I've started to play on this server yesterday, and since I'm not familiar with some of the mechanics\character, please help.

What are the meta characters right now? I saw a lot of knights,warrior,ata,prs. Does mecha\pike\mag\ass\sham are not considered as good?

And on the same breath, how can I complete the lvl 20 quest? the liches arent popping at night...

As a complete new player, you should not worry about which class is the best and which is the worst. 

Just try different classes and level them and see which one you seem to like the most and stick with that.

All chars are decently good. If you want to uppa fast. A pris is always a good option to train with.

Welcome back to the game. The best way to enjoy the game is pick a character of your preference and play with it. Sure it might not be good than other class you might think but you will love to play with the class you like. Down the road if you feel like you prefer other class more then there are plenty options available that we have designed to help:

• You can use Account Talisman to safely trade with other people in game
• Or you can use the in game feature to change the class of your own character with a bit of extra :).

Also for everything else, you can always look at our most up to date game guide for anything you need to help you go along. Forum is also another good resource where you can ask other gamer to support like this one :).

 

Lastly, if you are facing any game issue you can always check out our Support Section in which you can fill useful HOW TO guide to walk you through how to fix thing or how to post a correct report to get a quickest support from our friendly staffs :).

need to be specific, what level, which map, what part of the game? because in general, there isn't a really meta class here, because wartale has done a lot balances over the years, I can only recommend a meta class depends on your needs,

Suggestion one: Dont be too hung up about what the best champ is. More or less you can roll whatever champ you want, albeit dont pick assassin, girl is hard to do anything with below 130, so youre not gonna have a fun time with her. Other than that, the rest of the pool, is more or less equal. They have their ups and downs, but ultimaly, really balanced. 
As i began with, definitely pick whatever you feel like. If youre looking for someone to chill out with, feel free to add me. In game, im on Pance, Rolf, and a couple more. Im 12x, but id have no problem grinding you up
