Questions regarding costumes

Was wondering if the stats on the costumes actually worked or if it was just useless text on the item. Ive tried several and none change my actual stats nor do I notice any difference. Are these purely cosmetic or are there specific ones that give the stat increase that they say is given?

The status are given if you use the costume ( Summer/Succubus/Hopy) in the Armor/Robe slot.

 

Costumes doesn't add his stats to your char when you use it in the costume slot. 

 

In short, you must give up of your armor in order to get the costume special stats, sometimes it's worthy, like +100 attack range or +1 attack speed, it all depends on your build and play style.

You can also, leave the Summer(costume of choice, etc) in the costume slot. and then just REMOVE your armor, and put it in your inventory.

 

Then your Costume slot will become active and the costume of choice will be your current armor.

 

If you go this route, keep in mind, if you pickup a Armor from the floor, it will go to your armor Slot, and then deactivate your costume (slot)

 

 

The reason this 2nd method is nice, is because its faster to put your armor back in and you don't have to then place your costume in inventory.

also it takes the least inventory space.

 

with the first method(the one I use mostly)

you can wear a costume of choice(for looks)

and then trade out your armor for atk speed suit
