Sell to NPC

Hi, I've been away from the server for a couple of months and now i'm just back. 

 

As I am not high level, I used to take some equipment on the floor and sold them to NPC to gain a little bit of money... What a surprise when I saw that 80-90 equipment was sold to NPC for 760gp !! 

 

What is happening here? Anyone know? is it temporary ? did I miss something?
