Instead of changing anything related to gold, I would suggest to stream-line how low levels are achieved. I believe Wartale should replicate the old, classic feel of early leveling. That means, reducing Spawn rates to the original ones and adding higher level requirements on crystals to prevent early crystal-based gameplay. So, most players would simply kill monsters in 1v1 manner, or form parties and everyone kills a monster. Then, onto real changes: A new quest, early on, that teaches how to use, where to buy, and then, rewards the player with a Loot Filter effect- and by default it should have the options set to show only the player character spec items. Change how much exp monster gives, specially at later levels. Like i've said, the growth speed at low levels will be reduced a lot, but the goal is to also shorten the time spent to get into "main" Wartale Maps, that means, fastening the exp between level 80 and 130. Since lower levels will have less spawn rate, the idea is to boost each monster map exp-given exponentially as soon as the player enters a new map. End goal is to make low level growth pace to remain linear up to 132, like, every level taking the average same time to be obtained, instead of becomming progressively hard. Increase drastically the chance of getting the "best" item of current map on these lower level maps. Example, at Sanctuary of Darkness (65), increase a lot the actual chance of dropping level 65 items, for example. Quests on every map, where you can pick the quest and deliver on the same map. Quests should be a LOT MORE than simple "kill x monsters", like, drop a normal weapon or gear and retrieve, interactions with map, night-time hunting, etc. Apply the new map "explore" visual feature to all maps, so the map begins fully blank. Then, once 100% exploring the map, receive exp and other rewards. With all these changes, Wartale early levels (1-100) will be much slower, but then (101-130) will be considerable FASTER, so the overal pace remains the same, but the player plays on each map the same aumont of time. The end goal, new players will be mostly auto-sufficient without any need of external "gold farming" up untill 13x+. celesty 418 Report post Posted July 21, 2020 Would the increased drop in items 13x 14x cause a drop in prices? Many people don't have time to stay in SS all day trying to get a 14x set. The rarer the item the more expensive it is. So I wouldn't need to collect gold all day to purchase them. Or sell other items at a high price to get gold to buy 14x items. 14x items are very expensive and how are we going to buy them if our stores are full of cheap 11x items but without buyers? To sell we depend on new players or on existing players to create new characters. New players need gold in order to buy equipment. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
