Yes, it crits my friend. But as long I checked, the critical is only towards the main enemy that you are attacking. The damage chain on enemies surrounding never crits.

Its possible use impulsion in pvp? 
impulsion demage boost = 105%

grand smash demage boost = 79%

GD make more damage than impulsion. Anyone knows if impulsion work better with a golden hopy costume ?
