Marvel Stone Works on Amulets/Rings/Shelts?

I want to purchase a cheap Amulet in town but it was mixed and I'm not sure if that Miracle stone works on it?

It works, but come on.
Miracle stone clears and leaves status at random.
Marvel stone cleans and maintains the current status of the item
