new to the game, do shields come in mage spec?

I dont have much gold and Im trying to get a magician spec great shield by respeccing it but ive gone through about 5 million gold in gyfus and costs and still havent seen a magician spec.  i see mages all around with great shields but im not sure if theyre just ns or some other spec.

Don't have mage or prs spec shields on this server, they tend to go for AS or ATA spec shields, as they have lower str req
