Costume Stats hidden or useless?

Hey Wartale community,

 

I have a question about the costumes in Wartale. They got stats like Defense or ABS and I know that this doesn't apply to the character infos, but does it apply hidden? So if you wear a costume with 500 DEF for example, does it count hidden to your defense?

It will only apply if you don't wear normal Armor/Robe. If you wear those, your costume is cosmetic only.
