Who helps players with game issues?

A friend has been trying to get some help solving an issue that is preventing him from launching the game. He has asked in two different forums and noone that knows about the game has answered. We have been trying to get answers for like 3+ days now. Can a moderator or admin please help us? We are pretty tech savy ourselves, but something is blocking him from launching the game. His launcher actually updates, but then gives an error saying "Failed to launch game". We have dealt with the exceptions, windows defender and even turned off the antivirus software. His pc is running windows 7, but he runs more modern games every day. 

 

We are long time fans and just want to be able to play together and enjoy the game. Thanks in advance!

Have you tried making a windows deffender exception on your entire wartale map? I think i had the same issue, where it detects a 'virus' and then deletes game.exe from your folder, which then gives an error to the launcher. If you add that exception it shouldn't delete game.exe anymore and allow you to update

best way is try this:

clean memory,

re-start computer,

turn off windows defender, turn off antivirus, 

then proceed to re-download the files, 

then open game and patch up all,

make sure all these time, windows defender and antivirus are off, and always run as Administrator when open file,

 

if still failed to load game, only way is to play it on another computer or WAIT for admin to help you, but I seriously doubt they have the time to solve all the technical problems because Brawler just came out, and there some bugs need to be solved because Brawler is made to be isolated and are unable to interact with many game stuffs,

 

so if you wanna wait for admins to help you, probably another 3 months until Brawler bugs are fixed, so they got extra time, 

 

or you can reformat your PC, and re-do everything, but don't think you will want to reformat just to play Wartale lol, 

 

 

and you also got a friend, if real-life friend, ask your friend to:

put the final updated Wartale files, all into a USB drive,

bring it to your home, 

turn off windows defender, turn off antivirus,

insert USB,

open the files,

(there is no need to update, because your friend's file already updated to the latest)

now open and see if you can play, 

 

if still failed to load game, then it means it has nothing to do with all the updates or any corrupt game files, because your friend can play and the files are already updated,

and you have turned off windows defender and antivirus, so it's likely your computer just cannot run it, so definitely needs reformat or play on another computer,

 

or wait till admin wanna help..
