Extra benefits when donating in Coin Shop

Hi,

 

So I've heard legends talking about a myth, where you can get your account banned, simply by donating in coin shop, and now I tested it myself.

 

Yesterday, in preparation for Black Friday, I decided to throw $300 into Coin Shop to get 30kc, it went through and I got the coins immediately, then continued to play for hours. And then a miracle happened, when i tried to relog to get on another server, the game said "Account is banned". Went to check on the web Game Account login: "Account is permanently banned".

 

I went on the forums to cry on Request Unban, after 5 hours, Support performed a trick in the "How to be Support 101" book, he said, and I quote: "Please contact Wartae via PM for this issue". Well he was right, player being banned is none of his business anyway.

 

So I contacted Wartae as he suggested, and it was never to be read.

 

How do I call the police if it's the police themselves?

I used to donate using paypal, for how many times but my account was never been banned!

I suggest you create a new topic with the account ID.
along with the printout of the transaction.
Possibly there was an error on Paypal.

 

This purchase has probably already appeared on your invoice.
take print and post together.

 

System errors can happen.
try to resolve it by talking and showing that the error was not yours.
so they can help you.

After 24 hours in jail I am now released by the police with 500 extra coins in my pocket, but I'm very afraid I might get arrested again if I donate for more coins.

The account banned due to donating in coin shop myth is ridiculous. How do you think people donate to get their coins? There was probably issue with your payment method that triggered a flag in the system that your transaction was fraudulent.

Many people exploits the coin system through paypal by buying coins, making threads / pms with evidence of the transaction and asking their coins a fast as possible.

Then, they get the coins and reverse the purchase via paypal and / or their credit card. Remember - it is a "donation". You're not paying for something. After reversing the donation, the money is received back, but the coins remains with the character. This is a flaw since the conception of the system and nothing can be done about it untill other ways of payment appears (that are highly unlikely). 

As a self defense, i'm sure the game has a tight control of coins after the period that allows donations to be reversed expires. Any fishy thing you do with a recently purchased coins can lead you to be banned. If someone does this exploit, it would be hard to trace all coins back if the one who bought trade / sell coins, and then, the ones who got it, keep selling / trading it away.
