I'm excited to have come across Wartale. It's so rare to find a private server that doesn't just copy paste 99% of the game, but actually taking the time and effort to update the game to be more modern while still keeping the charm of the original game. I haven't touched the original game in literal years, the last time I played was in late high school when the game was already being overtaken by other MMOs like Maplestory and World of Warcraft.

Anyways, since I know a lot of stuff has changed from the original game I wonder if there are some tips for a newbie. I've already discovered the wonderous cheese that is the Huntress and her Mystic Crystals, can't believe I initially was leveling the old fashioned way like a complete chump. Now I'm already level 68 or so after a couple hours and I barely used any skills.

Biggest question here: which classes are solo friendly? From what I've read on the forums so far, it seems like Mage, Priestess, Mech, and Knight are the most durable or capable soloers. Are the rest of the classes also enjoyable for soloing if you gear them enough?

Thanks for all the answers. I've definitely gotten a Priestess up, and she's doing a good job at leveling up. Now I just need to keep equipment up to date so she can handle Cursed Temple 2 without crying too much, and hopefully find gear for other classes.
