First try for a sig - Need advice !

Can you rate it or give me some advices ?  :-\

Really nice work for a first try seriously.

 

Advice:

-Always have the shadows go the same direction (see text and mech)

-When you do shadows, give everything shadows

-The Heretics part, I wouldn't really put it in like that it kinda ruins the flow, just remove it and put it next to it, then set the text in the middle.

-Lighting: The background is one plain lighted thing, Give your sig a light point, you can easily do something like this by just making a new layer, putting it on "Overlay" then making a black to white gradient diagonal over the sig background which will give it a nice effect.

 

Could tell alot more but you should find some tutorials about lighting

I'd just add two advices:

 

- If the background is green, it should necessarily contrast with your mech nickname.  maybe two tons of green, or change the color intensity or something.

 

- Maybe change the contrast in the text "Quality over Quantity", or a shadow with contrast.  it would make it more visible
