Chain Golem

First of all let me say this. I Like a challenge and i have killed 11 chain golems so far to get the Royal Amulet to fight the Skill Master. I'm a Alanata character with pretty good skills and i haven't died hunting that chain golem but how many of those do you have to kill to get the Royal Amulet. Is this tough like in the old pristonatale days when you would hunt the bee dog down to get honey drops. This one here was easy but back then you were a lower lvl character in ept and it took a long time to get those honey drops. Anyhow i am not crying over spilt milk ok. I just want to know from someone how long it took you to get that amulet from those chain golems. I'm ready to kick some serious but on the Skill Master but that dag gone Royal Amulet is more a pain then fighting the Skill Master. I know i am going to hear someone say be patient but like how many of those chain golems do you have to kill to get that Royal Amulet? I hope i don't sound frustrated because i am not i really do enjoy this game. Like so many once you play you are hooked. It really doesn't matter if i have to kill 100 chain golems i just like someone to tell me a ball park figure of how many. I thank you for any info you can relate to this and i hope this isn't posted in the wrong place on the forum. Also just want to say this pristontale is done so well i feel like i just started playing new again with all the new features in the game. Thanks to all who help do this. Check your quest inventory... again ^^ a lot of times its easy to miss getting it. I have 3 chars and i got them within the first 10 kills. So i would suggest going to check in with the skill master after that even if you cant find it in your inventory. Its worth a shot, just be ready to go every time you talk to him GL

Done it 9 times, and it generally took no more than a handful of tries. I do remember once when I was supposed to kill illusion knights that took quite a while, partly because I had to kill 20-30 or so, and partly because the little buggers wouldn't spawn. Just keep at it.

Funny thing is, I got the Royal Amulet from the first illusion knight I killed but it took my pikeman a while killing Avelisk Lords (killed about 30) before getting his.

I did check my quest inventory after every kill and i know you are suppose to hear some kind of faint ding when you get it. Its a pleasure being in a game like this on realmpt. All of you were great and told me what i needed to know. No body was rude in answering me and i expected that because of the question i asked. All i can say is realmpt also has alot of helpful people on the forum and i hope someday i get to play with some of you on here. I also hope this answer helps others who might wonder seeing this.
