Hello,
there is someone who wants to sell me a level 138 2h-sword+ 24 Mech spec and I would like to buy this one to use it with my MS. But I was advised against buying a 2h sword for Mech, because since the last patch the passive skill to increase weapon damage "Mechanic Weapon Mastery" does no longer work for swords. I don't know if that is true. But before donate money to buy that sword I would like to know if this is true or not. Many Thanks.

No, the skill works for any type of weapon, as long as it is specialized for mechanician.
