Dude, you don't understand what I'm saying. The only one that can really solve the hard problems is Wartale. On other games there are more people like that, here it's just one person, atleast I think so.

I do agree update of the current situation is reasonable as RPT is supported by players(especially for players who donated to RPT).

Alas, Crius its a losing battle. They will not be happy, even if they get the info they want. It doesn't matter if its an update on the situation, a balance to a class, a nerf to a skill, they will always want something more. Wartale and team is prolly using the best strategy in this situation, admin black out. This way, they don't get overwhelmed by requests and questions and accusations, etc. They are prolly still monitoring the boards, tho.

I wasn't really talking to you at all, but resolving a DDoS is not a matter of trying harder. If you're dealing with a determined and skilled attacker, there is no defense. You can pour resources into your defense and hope that the attacker runs out first, but the entire point of a DDoS is that the attacker generally gets considerably more resources than you have. Saturate the link of the server and it won't matter what kind of defenses it has or how skilled the people working on it are. You can do things to alleviate some forms of attacks, but you can't stop it and definitely not without side-effects. You let the ISPs deal with it. It stops when the attacker gives up or is caught.

An update implies change. If there is no change, there is nothing to update you about. The last news I saw was exactly what I said; that there is an attack and they are doing what they can, and that they would post updates as they get them. What you're asking for is essentially a script that every X hours posts the exact same message. If anything, you're the one who should "chillax" if you feel such an urgent need to be told the same thing over and over again.

Do tell. People keep saying there is, but refuse to share the specifics when I ask. I'm well aware of several methods to lessen the impact, but nothing that is guaranteed to stop it while still leaving a fully operational server.
