Hello Wartale community, I'm here to share some of the knowledge I have with you about cooking.
Together we will discover new delicious foods, and many techniques for you who want to be a Master Chef.

I will be whenever possible updating and improving this content, bringing news and discoveries to everyone, so always keep an eye on the news.

 

 

How can I start being a Master Chef ?

Basically at the beginning of the game when you create your account you will already have access to the Cooking Pot in the main cities of the Wartale continent.
By pressing the G key on your keyboard you will have access to the professions tab, which corresponds to cooking and fishing because these two professions are directly linked.
To gain access to the Cooking Pot you need to pay a fee and then release it for 24 hrs, then you can start cooking, however you need ingredients for that.

How can I get ingredients for my recipes?

You can get ingredients in several places in the game, for example: Walking through the maps of Ricartem or Pillay you can find some ingredients on the floor (Ambernut and Apple).
On Ricartem's Maps Cuckelu ( Acacia Grove ) you can find ''Cuckoo Egg'' by clicking on the Chickens that are circling the Maps.
On Pillay's map ''Melkao''( Land Of dusk) you can find ''Fresh Milk'' in some cows that roam around the map.
In the main cities Ricartem, Phillay and Navisco you can find more ingredients in the NPCs that sell Potions and EtherCore, in each city you will have a different ingredient.
Ricartem: Wheat Seed (You can plant this seed, to get another ''Efrium Wheat'' ingredient)
Phillay: Butter
Navisco: Naviscan Spice

Hmm, looks like we have a good start to preparing our meals.

A good cook needs to diversify his dishes.
What do you think about finding more ways to acquire new ingredients?

You can go to the Ruinem Village NPC to find new tools to get new ingredients.

A Herbalism shovel and a fishing rod.
With this you will be able to pick up various plants and roots throughout the maps throughout the game, in addition to being able to fish for various fish and seafood in places that have lakes and rivers, and also on beaches.
With so many ingredients you can have a wide variety of foods.

 

 

How are professions linked?

 

We'll refer to cooking as ''Cooking/Fishing'', as these two categories work as one.
When your fishing evolves consequently, your cooking quality will also improve, this implies better results in the final result of your food, which is less chance of failure and also better Status.
Herbalism is also essential for your development in Cooking / Fishing, as it will provide ingredients such as plants and roots for you to make different types of food, and also through Herbalism you will acquire '' Worm Bite'' (Fish Bait), so in this way, a cycle of dependency and good functioning is created between these 3 categories.

Why do foods sometimes fail?
This basically depends on your fishing and also on making the ingredient mixes correctly.
Every time you cook a food your ''Cooking/Fishing'' Exp will increase a little too.
Sometimes also due to their cooking/fishing level being low they can still fail.

What are Normal and Gourmet(Perfect) foods?

When you manage to make a food it may come with statuses that are not perfect, so it will be a normal food lasting 1 hour every time.
Depending on your level you will have a greater chance of preparing a food and it will come with the perfect status or prefer to call it ''Gourmet'', this means that your food came with the best possible status.
Normal and Gourmet food are distinguished by some characteristics:
*Gourmet food will be named with blue color;
*It will have a duration of 3 hours;
*She will always have the best possible Status for this type of food;

 

 

How Can I Get Gourmet Foods Easier?

If you don't have a high level of Cooking/Fishing, you can try mixing 4 normal ready meals, as long as they are of the same type, so there is a considerably high chance of getting a perfect food.
The level of your Cooking/Fishing will also influence a higher success rate.
Never mix ready-to-eat foods of different types to try to make them perfect, this won't work.

Sharing food with my friends!

Once you have some food to use you can share it with your friends.
It's very simple, in a group with 6 people for example, everyone should be seated around the Cooking Pot, pressing the ''SPACE'' key on your keyboard to sit, then use this so that everyone receives the Buff of the respective food.
With the exception of who used the food, other people if they leave the game or relog will lose the food before the determined time.

Stop used food time

To keep the food running while you are not playing, you should remain seated in a Cooking Pot.

 

Planting Wheat (Efrium Wheat)

 

Once you manage to buy some seeds from the Potion NPc in Ricartem, you can look for some grass and throw your seeds (you can put the seeds in your hotbar to make it faster).
Wait 24 Minutes and then harvest the wheat, you need to have a Herbalism Trowel for that.
You will have +24 Minutes to harvest your Efrium Wheat, after that time someone else can harvest it for you, before that only you can harvest it.

Some Delicious Recipes to Strengthen Warriors

 

            Fish Roll

 

             

This food is ideal for those who want to evolve professions, increasing their Exp acquired in all professions.
Cooking variation: You can acquire O fish Rool using 3 different types of fish, Lemondine, ClaretFish or AbisCarp.
Will always use 2 Efrium Wheat + 1 Green Algae + 1 Fish(Lemondine, ClaretFish or AbisCarp).

             Golden Beer

 

Add + 6 % Exp For your Char    

 

This drink is used especially for the Up of your Char or your party, intensifying your Exp, and can be combined with Exp Hats and Exp Potion simultaneously.
Also guarantees to receive increased Exp when turning in Quests.
Combination Variable:

2 Efrium Wheat + 2 Mardanos Horn's = Golden Beer

or 3 Efrium Wheat + 1 Mardanos Horn's = Golden Beer

or 1 Efrium Wheat  + 3 Mardanos Horn's = Golden Beer

  Fish With Mushrooms

 

An excellent choice for those who want to balance their combat techniques, this dish is a little more focused on offensive combat and improves their hits considerably, balancing a little HP and Attack Power.

Combination Variable:

2 Lemondine, ClaretFish or AbisCarp + 2 Blusrooms = Fish With Mushrooms

1 Lemondine, ClaretFish or AbisCarp + 3 Blusrooms = Fish With Mushrooms

This recipe is used a lot for SOD.

Combination Variable:I always recommend using 2 fish in pairs and 2 crustaceans in pairs.
The fish can be Lemmondine Abyscarp or ClaretFish, possibly other fish can be used, but I have always had greater success with these 3 fish mentioned.
Crustaceans can be 3 different, also always in pairs,  Vampire Squid, Shrimp or Crab.

Hi, figon is not yet Gourmet, I'm still editing it's just temporary, I had prints of many ready-made recipes and Gourmets, but I formatted my PC and lost many, little by little I'm editing and improving the topic.

Hi, it sure helps a lot, I always consult your table (Spreadsheet) too.
You are one of the great contributors to Recipes in the game.
I am creating this cookbook in a more illustrated way to facilitate and help many in need  information in our community.

Anyone who wants to collaborate with illustrated recipes (Gourmet), help will always be welcome, as the content is for everyone.

There are certainly foods that have yet to be discovered in the game.
There are also legendary fish recipes that are little known and used, but dealing with legendary fish is not always something usual, there are few top fishermen in the game some that I know are @moobie1988 @manosalsa, I fished a lot, but at the moment I'm out of mining char.

I've been fishing, but I don't have the courage to use legendary fish for testing, it would be very good if the @Overlady could give some tips or say if there's any more food left for us to find out so we don't waste time

There is no direct recipe linked to naviskan spice, but just like butter it can be used to replaced other more expensive materials or turn a bad recipe into a good recipe.

 

PS. If you are British, you can put milk in your tea. 😛
