Hello,

Can anyone help me decide on what items to buy 136+

 

Greedy Gauntlets vs 140-144 Gauntlets

I have been told that the amount of damage is increased LVL/10 is not really that significant and that it is better to have more DEF/ABS.

 

106 Bracelet vs 140-144 Bracelets vs Hell/Centlon

I have been told that Hell/Centlon is not worth getting on PRS because Critical is not that important to mage classes.

 

 

I would really appreciate any opinion that would help me decide.

For Gaunt, yeah Greedy does not add that much dmg for Prs since her scaling is not high compare to other classes. Better to wear 140 or 144 for the extra abs and def. 

 

For Bracelets I am currently using 106 DNT (which is really cheap). Reason is because you dont have to use a lot of Agi compare to like Hell Brace or 140. Cause anything higher than 106, even with min Agi for Hell brace, you will need 96 and 104 for 140. That is like 20 extra point can be use in either Health or Spirit. 106 if you want to do damage and not tank. If tank I would say go for 140. Also Hell brace is useless anyway that 1% extra crit doesnt help Prs that much.

it's the opposite, greedy increases a flat amount /lvl, so skills with higher damage boost but lower scaling[ like priest/mage] are going to have overall more damage vs other classes.

Also, gaunt 144 requires more status over greedy, so you might even relocate the extra str/spirit into hp instead, since priest hp formula is the highest of the game.

I personally prefer greedy all day since it's more flexible for both offensive/defensive builds [ 30 pts/health =110 hp for priest > 6 abs in everything that is not SoD] and cheaper.

 

note that Halloween hat increases 10 abs and sheep hat increases 100 hp, but ppl choose sheep hat over halloween all day, the same goes to greedy vs gaunt 144 on priest, with the peak of being able to go into a more offensive build.

106 only for PvE, 144 for pvp, not sure about centlon, since I've never had one.

Also, critical being bad on magic classes is false, there's something called diminish returns, so classes that already have massive amount of crit, like KS, actually have less improvement getting more crit status, but class with low crit rate get a higher relative amount of crit.

it's qu1te simple to check this: girraffe hat + crit scroll is 10% extra crit rate, which would be a massive 38% relative extra crit rate for priest [27%->37%], but for a KS is just 17% relative crit rate [57%->67%]

vit mix is better if only for AoE, like SoD or iron core, but dext for everything else.

I would go with dext.
