Some interesting observations from selling gears in personal shops

I have 6-7 offline shops in odin selling items by class. The way items are getting sold is pretty interesting and I want to share my thought with everyone. 

 

Item lvl100-110: these are the easiest ones to sell due to their lack of supply. These items mostly drop in M cave, sometimes in beecave and in lvl 12x hunting maps. Most players grow out of these levels quickly and probably won't be selling/saving the drops consistently. 

Suggestion: maybe consider having SL drop a small % (like 10-20%) of 100-110 items as well, just so new players can buy these items more easily

 

Items lvl114-124: these are the hardest ones to sell, again, due to their over supply. These items mostly drop in SS, SL, there are a big growing population of players in these level range. The SL and SS daily quests are done by all players 14x 15x. 

Suggestion: mixing some 100-110 items in SL and SS. 

 

Items 128+: I assume these are dropped in LC and EB, which I'm not there yet, so I can't comment on these 🙂

 

Now, let's talk about items by class. 

KS: this is the best selling class by far. KS items are consistently sold out even if I mark them 30% higher than other classes. It just shows how good KS as a class is and most of the new players are choosing this class. Most of the players who wants to start a new char are choosing KS. 

 

MGS, PRS: these items are the 2nd tier in terms of how fast items are getting sold. Much slower than KS but still much faster than the other classes. This is not too surprising because PRS is always welcome in DG, and is a well rounded char. MGS can tank well and have the best AOE ability in game. 

 

ASS, BS, PS, FS, AS: these items are in the middle. People are buying them but I have a lot of left overs in the inventory. Sometimes I had to sell a few to the NPC because there isn't enough space on the mule anymore. 

 

SS, ATA, MS: I have a full wh and a full char carrying each of these items of these classes. I basically only sell to npc now whenever I pick up these items because no one is buying them. MS is marked as the worst class of wartale, I disagree with this but that's the overall MS image now. Ata is overshadowed by AS and I get it less people are choosing it. But what really surprises me is how slow ss gears are getting sold. I played a ss briefly and really enjoyed them. They tank well, they kill fast and they have one of the best buffs in the game. I'm not sure why new player aren't choosing them. Maybe because they walk funny. Out of the 3, MS is definitely the worst. I sometimes go by a whole week without selling a single piece of MS equipment. It makes me sad, because my main is a MS

The end game playing needs really dominates what class people are choosing. Lvling to 148 will take a year or so, but playing in EB and LC after that will take a much longer time.
