Guide for dyeing an item?

I wonder how this dyeing an item work. I am a beginner and want to dye my item soon. Do i need to place my item somewhere in? Is there maybe a guide page or maybe a video guide?

Hi,

 

All you have to do is right click on dye item then click on a dyeable item/costume/hairs to get it done.

idea x, would you be able to make the iria items dyable? like phantom armor it would be cool its not a normal item it is quest given item. just thought it would be cool to dye my iria robe and not just have white or black.
