Does staff/wand damage add to spell damage?

I was just curious since the difference in dmg I made using Dryadwand +6 (23) and Wyvern wand (lv92) are not that far apart. It makes me wanna to ask to see if you guys know anything about it. Thanks!

For some spells it does. Meteorite for example does 188(+Spirit/2 +Min Wand Dmg x 2) - 218(+Spirit +Max Wand Dmg x 2) damage, meaning every point of min/max weapon damage add 2 points of min/max spell damage.
