That makes no sence? The point is to not have a border it lets the image free of limits to have any shape it wants. Why just have a image that is just a box? That's boring and puts limits to what you can do take a look at mine no border. Your sig should be unique not boring and confined to a box.

lol you are funny, it is all depends on what signature you make, what style, your signature is nothing special

 

lemme give you an example of a signature with a border and its not DEAD as you think.

 

art is art i agree, but nothing wrong with teaching some one who just started in photoshop, it is only a little advice for his current signature, he is not a pro yet to make "live signatures without border"

Eleven is right, art is art, and its what you make of it. If you are good with photoshop and such programs then you are able to make nice borders like the ones you have posted. But I ment was using a box a a border. The ones that you have posted are not box shaped and they look nice, i didnt say that borders are dead i said they can be boring. Art should be free with no limits and if you are good with borders then great! It might no be needed for all images. Thats all.

i just showed you that "border" is not just a black lines around a picture, anyways its not pointed on you since you are not the one who make that signature, i duno why you talking to me anyway.

Actually I would love to make artsy borders but I need to know how it is done in photoshop first.

 

I think a picture pops better with the right border and I plan to learn how to make them

 

I did this sig for Death666 and it has a semi border on the left side that I think looks ok

but I didnt make the border, I cut it out of another pic I had and edited it to fit his sig

 

 

I will look for some tutorials on how its done so I can make some original borders of my own  ;D
