so, did those items got removed from game or what? i never droped a single one of those again, back then we wouldnt even pick it up cuz it droped so often.

does anyone know if it became event item (and what event specifically) or if its just very very rare drop or if it got removed?

I'm not sure if it got removed from the game. But however I know it wasn't that common as you stated as well.

I know they nerfed Moon Hunting.. but back then that is how i got most of it. It was from moonhunting.

School boxes used to be an event item, but because of a bug it ended up staying in the forced drop table for qui te some time. They could drop from any mob anywhere, and the costumes became so worthless that players would just toss them on the floor. And yes, we never enable it again after we fixed the bug.
