Play Wartale on a Mac?

I tried searching for a way to play wartale on a Mac, here in the forum there are some topics but I couldn't find someone that actually made it work.

 

Looks like playing in a VM is bannable, so is there another way to play?

Hi,

 

I would suggest you to Google on how to run Widows game on Mac, that would give you several options beside VM.

If Mac is only option for you then please send PM to Senpai.

Do you try to make a Bootcamp on your Mac?? 

 

You'll need a Windows Key to install the software. 

 

I know that is not the best way to solve your issue, but you could be play on Mac with an Windows software.

So Because of my work(software engineer) and because linux is the best OS in the world, I use the Linux OS daily and with the Arch distribution. i know that OS is not possible to play wartale, but i would like to know if in the future will be possible to play wartale on linux.

by the way  i had to buy a new computer with windows OS just to play wartale lol

You can run it on Linux, just set up a Wine prefix and install the basics and DX stuff and then you’re good to go.

 

I was able to play in the past using pure Wine but now should be easier using Bottles.

 

I’m also coming back to play but I just have a M3 pro MacBook with no chance to buy a windows machine just to play the game so I’ll tinker with it when I have free time to see if I can do it.

Bootcamp just works in Apple Intel computers, not in newest ones (with Apple Silicon).

 

Also VM's are not a option, even if it they're allowed here, since it uses aarch64 architecture instead of x86_64 so virtualization is way slower since it has to emulate the processor instructions, which are different.

@brunoazzi Well, I managed to run it successfully (and at least, very easily), but for a reason that I don't know yet I've got insta banned after log into my account, lol. 

 

 

@Support I've sent message to @Senpai to get more info about it.

Well, let me first know what led to ban of my "mule" account before share any tutorial about it.

 

If I get to know what happen and fix it, then I can make a tutorial of how to play the game using Mac and Linux if admins let me to do it.

Maybe for you to log in on a mac you'd have to change wartale's priorities, once a few centuries ago I managed to play in the trash there, and I'd done it by changing some of the launcher's priorities, maybe here in wartale it's possible too.

Utilizing a virtual machine (VM) to play Wartale violates our server policy, necessitating permission from the Senpai for such activities. This permission may entail additional complications, including the requirement for authentication validation to ensure the legitimacy of the player. This is not a priority for us, we cannot guarantee the smooth operation of such activities.
