New - What is a falling star?

Hi,

I used to play back in the mid 2000's and now I am back. I have some questions:

1. I was recently running through Forbidden Land and I saw a bright light shining from the sky. I stood under the light and was rewarded with a "falling star" or "fallen star" in my inventory. I wasn't sure what it was for, so I just left it there. I login later and it was nowhere to be found. What is the fallen star used for?
2. I was near a boss and I got "MVP" when the boss died, however, I know I was nowhere close to doing the most amount of damage. I did not want to poach someone else's kill. I was still rewarded MVP somehow. What does this mean? What does being rewarded MVP do for you?
3.  I won $0.01 USD worth of bitcoin somehow. When I go to the cash shop... I can send this one cent to bitcoin address? Does this work or am I misunderstanding it? Is there ever a decent amount of money?
4. I am currently level 94, but I have really crappy gear. Most of my gear is from the charity box and is well below my level. I have focused on ground pike and tornado and they are level 10. I usually rely on Crystals to fight. I seem to kill with ease is Forbidden Land, but I can't seem to find the next location to train. Anywhere I go with higher level enemies, is too hard, forbidden land is too easy. Where should I be training? I have been having a little bit of luck with cursed, but I still die way too easy and I need crystals to do it.
