Spirit Elemental

I'd post in the MGS forum but it seems ultra dead there, and hoping someone can help answer this question...

 

does Spirit Elemental add damage to the skill additively? or is it after the fact? IE: for Flame Wave, baseline it is 130% and 100% Burn strength at 1s. Flame Wave hits twice, so its 260% damage (+100% burn still only?) from one cast of the spell. with Spirit Elemental, also at max rank giving 76% more boost; would it then be making Flame Wave 206% default, x2 since its 2 hits for 412% total (+ burn? does burn scale with spirit elemental?) or would it be 130% x 2, + the 76% for 336% damage total?

 

@Overlady or anyone who can help, Id greatly appreciate it.

To follow up as well; does Enchant Weapon affect AOE skills? only normal attacks? it doesnt boost atk pow in the C window anymore, does it affect the mage spells at all?

It is additive.For Flame Wave, the result is 130% + 76% = 206% damage boost. It hits twice, and each hit applies a burn for 1 second, dealing 100% of the 206% damage. Effectively, this can be considered as four hits, totaling 824% damage boost. However, since the second burn overlaps with the first, the actual damage boost falls somewhere between 618% and 824%.

Yes, Enchant Weapon does work with AoE skills. It applies to final damage, meaning it is calculated after all other boosts, making it much stronger.
