Hi, I'm a graphic designer and I currently work with this field. I have over 5 years of experience working with Social Media and visual identities. I have degrees, diplomas and courses in various areas of design, so no, my work is no joke!
 

I recently made some wallpapers and manipulations for a friend who has an ATS 16x, the grand [A]lessia, and I would like to share the results with you.

I think that with current technology in our favor, AI nowadays, it is possible to do incredible work, it is possible to make the characters more 3D, more realistic, something that in the past would be much more time consuming/complex. Your art is beautiful, but in 2009 when I played around in Photoshop I already made art like this, I can only imagine what I could do with current technology.

Maybe the quality of the print didn't really help, but I like to think that maintaining the character's originality is more important than perfect lines and a realism that doesn't even exist in the game. After all, I was asked to do a manipulation for a wallpaper, not a remodeling of the game.
 

Regarding AIs, I have aversion and disgust, I boycott them whenever I can, I have no interest in using this "wonderful" technology, which after all, only steals other people's work, doesn't create anything, and this "improvement" that people talk so much about, in fact only makes everything artificial, which is exactly what people like nowadays, artificial and superficial things (but I play Wartale, what am I criticizing after all?). AIs are just that, a tool for lazy people, with bad taste and no personality, Studio Ghibli sends its regards.
 

About your 2009 artworks being similar to these, congratulations for that, I would like to see some of your pieces, just out of curiosity and without judgment (I'm not that kind of person). But do, for us to see, something using today's technology and enlighten us with such skill in using ready-made recipes and plagiarizing technology.
 

And I don't "play" with Photoshop, I work with Graphic Design, and in the middle of that, Photoshop is just another work tool like any other. Anyway, these pieces were made with a simple briefing and that's all, made as they were requested, I'm wasn't trying to make a master-piece.
 

In fact, I would really like to know the motivation for your quote, cause idk, to me, it doesn't seem like constructive criticism, but rather disdain. I really don't understand why someone would comment something like that...
