Soccer with sockets and gem

First thing, I am sorry I don’t know that I post here is correctly place or somewhere else for my question. If this is the wrong place, please move it to correct placing topic.

My question is that can we make the sockets on soccer armor/robe and add gem on it?

Sockets cannot be put in costumes. Only armors and robes. And be cautious that orbs/shields cannot have sockets either. 
 

 

so if you swap a dnt weapon/armor with gem into an orb or shield. You will lose the socket and the gem. 

Edit weapons as well can have gems and sockets
