Hello i just started today i watched some youtube videos about the game alot people told me not to play cuz is not new player friendly no guides no info or anything but still download it and started gameing xD my ING is NewKnighty if anyone want help or give me tips about the game send me a a whisper i made a Knight as my started

. because this is an old server (11-12 years) so it's almost all high level players. there aren't too many updates for newbies. it's playe difficult to approach the game. you'll almost have to play alone from 1-140. my suggestion is to create multiple accounts at once (the server allows you to open multiple accounts). it will help you level up faster than just playing 1 account. usually there will be 1 tanker 1 damage and 1 buff: knight mg and pri. 1-80: exp from crystal 8-115: exp from mg (max flame wave) k9 build full tank and pri buff vl - rengen field 115+: when pri have full item 114 mix she can solo exp (tank and kill) 140+: time to hunt if your computer is strong enough. play 6 accounts. because later there will be daily Q for daily gold. full daily Q with 6acc = 90-120 mil gold

6 accounts sound to much for a solo new player to catch up tho i just hit 29 i wil ltry do wha you said above soon as i get used to the game more

Create a PRS and an ASS, level up to 120, start mining, get access to the black market — done. Or just buy an ASS with 10/10 mining, with tools, max 20kc, go grid — done.
Otherwise, rage and suffer endlessly.

Even with all this, it's still the best server to play Priston Tale. It was great in the past, now it's just okay. The community is very displeased with some things — I strongly recommend reading a few topics on the forum.

 

For example, leveling a character now is not a good idea. Just do as I told you: create a PRS and an ASS, start mining, make gold, and buy a character. There are more for sale than there are people to play them. It's VERY cheap — the price isn't even half of what players originally spent on them, time and cash.

 

If you mine every day for the same amount of time you'd spend leveling up to 140+, you’ll make enough to buy a fully equipped level 152 character — more or less. Still bad, by the way. Farm a bit more and go straight to 160+.

 

My opinion: don’t waste your time leveling up — go mining.

If you think this is too much, you're not ready to learn how to make gold here. You will NEVER get good items without a lot of effort — and I really mean a lot. Everyone struggles to make gold here. There are a few ways to do it:

• Dailies, but they require a lot of mules — in other words, more accounts, each at least level 135.
• Newbie quests with new characters — again, more accounts.
• Boss drops — don’t even try this unless you're well-equipped. But if you can, and with A HELL OF A LOT of luck, you can make some good gold.
• Credit card — the easiest option, but it’s not cheap, okay?
• SOD — Just give up on this one. It's simply impossible without more than one extremely well-equipped account.
• Mining, JUST DO IT.
• Do services, charge whatever you see fit.

 

Accounts to buy:

I recommend PRS, MGS, or SS. This is a full PvE game. If you want PvP, go for BS — it's simply too broken to have any real competition. However, PvP isn’t very active here anyway.
The top players don’t even play the game — they pay others to level up their characters.

 

There’s an ATT coming — a very rare occasion, happens about once a year (+/-). It should bring some balance changes. Wait and see what changes; keep an eye on the forum. People will share how the game feels after the update.

You’ll find a lot of help on the forum — there's plenty of content explaining quests, mounts, gathering, leveling from scratch, farming, and more.
