Hellion when they turn hostile

What should I do when my hellions turn hostile? They kill me too fast. What should I do? re-summon? (the CD is too long so it's not an optimal solution)

Re summon will not make the hostile one disappear. You need to either kill him or run.

 

When you are lower level they are too strong. Sometimes the other hellions might tank it for a while for you to kill it.
 

When you get to higher level they won’t hurt as much, especially if you have high fire resistance, then you can kill it.

 

The skill is not balanced well, it is annoying. Most of the times I just run away and go to a different spawn lol
