20 YEARS PLAYING PRISTON TALE

I played this game two decades ago... from the launch of the English server, which was free until level 40. Then BPT... UniquePT, RedemptionPT, RealmPT, Wartale....

 

The truth is, we get older, build careers, families, and no longer have the free time we had in our childhood... Not to the point of having a competitive character in the game...

 

What do you guys do for a living today? What games do you usually play? One that doesn't require dedicating your life like Priston Tale and Mu Online (another one I played a lot from the beginning, back then there was only DW, DK, ELF... Magic Gladiator came later kkkkkkk)...

 

I played a lot of LOL, but I got bored kkkkk

 

What do you know about the legend of Sandurr? What does he do for a living? Is he still active in the world of Priston/Wartale? Did he build a company? (general curiosities)

Same here. I start in ePT 2004 and yes, server was free until lvl 40 and i couldt afford to pay $5 a month do lvl up at the time, then i tried kPT but impossible since i dont unterstand a single word in korean (server was better than ePT).

 

Then i move my acc to bPT (Awell server) and i brought a lot of rare itens (80b, 80c, 80c) making me a bit rich. With a crap drop at Ice Map, i decide to sell my bPT acc for real money and move to RedemptionPT (best server all the time...GoldenAge of this game). After Sjoerd bought the server and re-name, UniquePT, game start to be boring and full of 100% donated chars. 

 

With the end of the UniquePT, i remenber that was allowed to switch unique acc to another server (dont remmenber name) with some "balanced" itens between unique and this new one. Then i stop play. 

 

I friend of mine was my mentor here and he gave me his acc. Pike lvl 103 at that time. So, RealmPT and now Wartale. Buying and selling some accs. 

 

I remember some clans that i was joyned: ePT (noone), bPT (RevolT), Redemption (Revolution),  Unique (SoNois), Realm (created my solo clan).

 

Half of my life playing this game...Jesus Crist. This is part of my childhood. Im not playing anymore, just log some times to see about ricarten shop and news.

I remember, the very first time that I heard about priston tale was about 2005 or 2004 maybe. When BPT was started, my cousin bought a magazine at magazine stand with cd-room with priston tale client. One of my emails contains a message from 2006. Good times.

 

Garden of Freedom was reeeeeeally full of players. In that time was really hard to kill a hopy alone and about 10-15 players always togheter to kill a HobGlobin. And about the quest from lvl 20???? Easily more than 30-50 players trying to kill the wolfes. And u have to kill about 10-15 to finally obtain award.

What can i say.. played official server, before P2P, during the great times when people blocked the teleport in Ricarten.. but we lose haha and game became P2P..

Paid for one year, and then few more months.. game was out dated, but the suffering with players the chit-chat was amazing.. 

everything had a value.. +7 +8 item were ELITE back then.. even if they were NS haha. 

now days everyone has fully geared +24 and people greedy to each other ...

today it feels like if you are not online most of the time, then you are not keeping with pace.. and it is sad because it just makes me log in, run around and log out...

 

hard to find people to talk to, most are greedy and selfish who hunting for high end items, or toxic pvp players thinking they are fighting for their life..

 

things chage, i bet i was that crazy toxic person back then wanting to rule the world xD

now it is their era haha.

 

Thanks to the game server Staff that keep this server running, it is better to ignore the issues and just enjoy the nostalgia ...
