if you are looking for High End cameras, Sony is the one Cannon have more effects pictures for you to choose, but sony sensor is much better when u view it on computers or when u print out, maybe u can go get more info from google of the diff between Cmos and Exmor  sensor, atm only sony brand is using Exmor  sensor
