Help move/click

Im a returning player and just downloaded the game. My problem is that I cant move/walk or click it buttons/icons.
I can use the keyboard to chat in game but aside from that, I cant do anything else.
Please help. Thanks.

PS. Ive downloaded the game twice using both links to test if the files is the problem but that didnt help.

Just released new patch. No problem in my end, never heard problem like that before

just a standard bluetooth mouse/keyboard.
Already tried creating new account and still cant move

I found the problem and unfortunately I don't know how to solve this.

Im using Multi-Seat PC (iBik-aster) and thats what is causing the issue. If I disable the multi-seat, it works just fine.. Is there a way to get around this? I cant always disable the multi-seat as there is another user on the pc.

Wow, never heard of this. It looks pretty cool.
 

My wife would enjoy if I got rid of the multiple pcs and only kept the extra keyboards/mice

I remember people having issues with a  similar setup in the past but i think it was called something else and I believe the issue was because it created a virtual keyboard or something like that and the game doesn’t allow it. (Maybe around the minions patch this has been blocked)

Since you say you are returning now, I imagine this wasn’t even working prior to this patch.

Since you say you are returning now, I imagine this wasn’t even working prior to this patch.

 

Yeah it's a cool setup plus it saves electricity and space. It's literally 2 separate PC in 1 hardware. The only thing you need additionally is a USB to Audio adapter to separate the audio stream or use Bluetooth. The only downside is you cant have multiple monitors per user if you don't have extra GPU or onboard GPU. I'm using Ryzen 7500f with just a RX6600 but can run ETS2 high graphics while the other user has too many chrome tabs open and watching YT with no stuttering or lag.

This is the 1st time I'm playing using multi-seat so I was surprised there's an issue. Even if I assign all the peripherals to my user/PC, as long as aster is enabled I cant click or do anything in game except type in chat box. It's weird why I cant use the keyboard to walk/open anything but I can chat/whisper with no problem

Well, it's not weird the game doesn't allow it. I have 3 monitors, with this i could run 3 "separated" pcs right? And use 3 macros in one machine. This scales when u imagine someone opening 6 wartales, configurating a macro (virtual clicks) to operate all accounts while the person just look at the screen.

Same problem here, and I'm also getting back into the game. I don't have this problem in other games. I think the use of IBIK Aster is legitimate and shouldn't be blocked.

I found a workaround. If you are experiencing this mouse/keyboard clicking issue with the IBIK Aster, you can do the following:

This special setting will allow you to bypass aster application for keyboard and mouse control.

Run ASTER as administrator > Workplaces tab -> click the "☰" button in the System section -> choose Special settings -> 

then from the drop down choose "chklevel100" -> then click the Apply button.
