We need to talk about the mage's Stone Spike.

 

The skill is USELESS!

 

It’s a Tier 5 skill that doesn’t deal good damage, leaves the user more vulnerable, and is slow, making it unusable.

 

It could be part of a combo, deal more damage, reduce enemies’ fire resistance, making it necessary to boost the damage of Flame and Meteor, for example.

 

It could be used from a distance, like the priestess's ability that targets a specific location, and deal more damage than the meteor, even if it has a very long cooldown.

 

When will we see a balance update for this skill in a maintenance patch?

 

I don’t want to just keep spamming Flame Wave forever...

I like the idea of rotating abilities; a combo that alternates between Flame Wave, Meteor, and Stone Spike would be really cool for the mage, and it would prevent idle macro gameplay in EB

+1 rework the skill, the mage could choose where to place the spikes, not just on his feet.
