Question regarding damage

Hi there!

 

I would like to know what's the difference between the damage in different colours, white, orange, darker orange, etc.

Im not wasking about the type of damage like poison, ice, etc. I want to know if there's a differente between each color and if its like minimun damage, critical, max damage etc.

 

There's a formula but it does not help - its for critical damage boost or something like that.
