Is there anyway I can cancel a quest? Problem!

I've been doing this quest 10x of lost and for 3 days I've been killing Dark Phalanxes and no axe! Is it possible It's a kind of problem I should report? or is it normal? 3 days, guys..

and by that suesue means that after you type it you have to go to the NPC that gave you the quest and get it again from him
