Is this normal?? Manufacture failed on Iria Robe for quest and its gone.

After doing all of the things necessary for the tier 5 rank up quest, I took my Iria Armor to Master Shalon, put up all 3 of my runes that I made, and the mixing failed!! And my armor disappeared..

Please tell me if this is normal and please let me know what I'm suppose to do now..  :o
