Extinction!

I have used extinction several times on multiple undead mobs. My observations from training is telling me that extinction does not 96% success rate on all undead monsters within range.

What do you guys think?

Well, I have prs and I am training everyday at AD3. IMO Ext has a really high per cent of sucess, very rarely it fails for me.

Then truth what you have seen. If you got result like that, then for each monster, extinction have 4% chance to miss. Not success all the time.

What monsters, specifically, have you tried it against and noticed lower success? They may have resistance, which decreases success rate (but not damage).

I have tried it in AD1. I was surrounded by several (roughly 15) undead mobs. I only see around 7 or so always getting extincted successfully. i just think the number should be around 10 or 12 most of the time I caste extinction on 15 undead mobs.

That is a pretty low success rate, and AD1 should not have any undead that resistant to it. First of all, I assume we're not talking about the archers here, because their max range is greater than Extinction I believe. Second, are you sure you're not confusing at least some Undead Slaves for Ancient Explorers? They look very similar, and despite the name, the Undead Slave is in fact a demon and immune to Extinction.

I think I am confusing the undead slave to ancient explorer. With that in mind, I believe extinction does hold true!
