AD1 vs AD2

Does AD2 yield better exp for a priestess compared to AD1?

 

If so why? my clan mate says that there are more monsters in the hellspawn of AD2 compared to AD1. Is this true?

AD1 is for 120+ AD2 is for 124+ so ad2 is better
