I'm fine with 4th. That just doesn't seem right because some players didn't deserve to get smashed that way, they will still talk about this 7x1 for a hundred years, and that will probably look like Brazil came to this WC with a bunch of idiots, when they were just few

 

In general lines, the WC was freaking cool. There were great, great matches. The "small" teams were not that small and brought a hard time to the ones we consider big. Goals, many of them, pretty much different than the last WC in South Africa.

 

The team who won was really the best one. Germany was pointed as favorite even before the start of the championship, and, in the end, won. They builded their own place to train, and trained almost every day. On their free time, they enjoyed the country, the people. Their interaction with the Cup was so natural, I don't know how to explain it. Every time they show those guys, famous world players, among simple people, laughing, singing... those things brought me a smile on my face, it's amazing. Specially because it's Germany, the famous serious and cold people.

 

Argentina making it's way to the final was a great surprise to me. Because I thought they could make it based on the offensive players, but it was all based on their defense. And, come on, how many of us were questioning their team because of that, the weak defense Argentina had? They were not weak in the end.

 

Holland going so far was a good surprise too. You always trust them to bring it up with good teams, but this team was so new to me, and new to most people, I guess. I didn't know what to expect from them. And when people say Robben Robben Robben, I say Blind. Damn that guy. Everybody knows Robben, we all know what he can do. I didn't know Blind, that dude is freaking good.

 

Colombia and Chile were showing the best football until they got kicked out. COSTA RICA! Omfg, they sent back home Italy and England!!

 

Brazil at 4th sounds OK. The coach is outdated, but we were just OK with that because he was getting through everything. The players are not that bad, and we suffer with the stupidity around Neymar. God, he's just a fucking player, he's not outstanding as people say. To let him free on the damn field, Oscar go from the middle to defend the left side, what is plain stupid. The guy got to carry the ball on the middle, how is him supposed to do that if he keep running to cover that side of the field? WHY THE FUCK NEYMAR CAN'T DO THAT AS HE'S THE PLAYER ON THAT DAMN FUCKING SIDE?? Brazil is not Portugal! We don't HAVE and we don't NEED to play for one guy only!! Portugal play for Cristiano Ronaldo, because that's ALL they have! Argentina play for Messi? NO. Messi plays for Argentina!! THAT'S HOW IT ROLLS, or at least that's how it should roll.

I just hope, for the football's sake, that a lesson will come out from this mess.

That's how it rolls. Losing in that way is a shame. A shame to football. And that shame belongs to who play it, not to us. Terrible matches, but winning... we can get along. Losing a well played match, it's alright. Doing what was done, that's what you deserve. Those who support broken teams just failed on supporting. There is no better way to show how we dislike what we see than doing what was done.

 

Still two sentences. I can explain (as I hope I did) why I can't understand the second one. The first is a mystery, still.
