Q about new mic setting

In-Game Voice Chat now also channels to Party Members ('g' keyboard key)

 

I didnt find any difference between configuring it to speak through clan chat or party chat, so what does it mean? what I speak through microphone to my clannies is also heard from whoever is on my party?

I never have heard something just see a sign in middle of my interface
