Auto Mech for ET Quests use armor?

I'm 106 at the moment and I'm using the spark mech build. When i reach lvl 100 I will need to turn into automech to do the ET party quest. The point is, all armors of 110 use almost 250 STR and I need to know if in an automech build I should use or not an armor. In caso of don't use any armor, I should use some king of costume with a little bit or armor?
